Welcome

Joshua's Werk, a non-profit 501 C3 tax-exempt organization, is committed to bridging the gap between youth aged 15-24 and employers. We assist in planning strategic career moves, developing leadership skills, and finding new employment opportunities. Our program offers skills training, education, and assessments to ensure that every person is matched with their skill set. By cultivating relationships with employers, we increase the number of jobs available, giving our youth hope for a brighter future.

Background

Joshua's Werk was founded in 2015 to empower young individuals by providing them with the skills, resources, and opportunities necessary to thrive in
today's evolving job market. Recognizing the challenges many youths face in securing stable employment, our organization is dedicated to bridging the gap between education and workforce readiness.

Our workforce development program is designed to support underserved and at-risk youth, ages 15-24, by equipping them with critical career skills, fostering personal growth, and connecting them with local businesses and mentors. We understand that early career development is key to breaking cycles of poverty and building sustainable futures, so we focus on comprehensive, hands-on training that aligns with industry demands.

Through a blend of career coaching, technical training, resume building, and job placement assistance, our program helps participants build confidence and competence. We collaborate with schools, community organizations, and local employers to create pathways for youth to explore various career options, gain real-world experience, and develop the soft skills necessary for long-term success.

MISSION

Our mission is to assist individuals 15-24 years old in planning strategic career moves, develop leadership skills, and find new employment opportunities.

Our vision is to allow human beings to earn honest wages while providing businesses with a better way to connect to a more diverse labor force.
